Excercise
A big part of healthy living is what you put into your body. Another big part is what you do with your body. It’s neat that our bodies are designed to adapt to handle new loads and actually thrive in the process. I have, at various times in my life, been quite physically active and the common thread running through those times was a sense of well being and energy I had. During prolonged periods of “rest” when I was less physically active, instead of feeling rested and energized I felt increasingly lethargic.
Raw eating allowed me to shed excess weight, which in turn made me want to move more. Moving more helped me shed still more weight, perpetuating the cycle. Now, after only a few months of moderate exercise, I find I look forward to my workouts and seek new ways to incorporate fun movement into my life. Exercise does not have to be in a gym either, you can take a walk in beautiful settings, or even a brisk walk through the local shopping mall.
In this section I will post things that I discover, which are related to moving for fitness.
